REFUND POLICY
At Shivasundari Vocational and Industrial Training Institute, we understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and students may need to withdraw from a course or program. This Refund Policy outlines the procedures and guidelines for refunds.
SCOPE
This Refund Policy applies to all students enrolled in courses or programs offered by Shivasundari Vocational and Industrial Training Institute.
REFUND ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible for a refund, students must meet the following conditions:
1. The student must have paid the full course fee or have a valid payment plan in place.
2. The student must have submitted a written request for withdrawal from the course or program.
3. The student must have complied with the Institute's rules and regulations.
REFUND PROCESS
1. Students must submit a written request for withdrawal from the course or program to the Institute's administration office.
2. The request must include the student's name, course or program name, and reason for withdrawal.
3. The Institute will review the request and determine the refund amount based on the Refund Schedule (below).
4. The refund will be processed within 30 days of receiving the written request.
REFUND SCHEDULE
The following refund schedule applies to all courses and programs:
- 100% refund: If the student withdraws before the start of the course or program.
- 75% refund: If the student withdraws within 7 days of the start of the course or program.
- 50% refund: If the student withdraws within 14 days of the start of the course or program.
- 0% refund: If the student withdraws after 14 days of the start of the course or program.
EXCEPTIONS
The following exceptions apply to the Refund Policy:
- If the Institute cancels a course or program, students will receive a 100% refund.
- If the student is unable to attend a course or program due to illness or other exceptional circumstances, the Institute may consider a refund or transfer to a future course or program.
DISPUTE RESOLUTION
In the event of a dispute regarding a refund, the student and the Institute will attempt to resolve the issue through mediation. If the dispute cannot be resolved through mediation, the student may seek external arbitration.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
Shivasundari Vocational and Industrial Training Institute reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the Institute's website.
